My Visit to Michigan : I have a sister in Michigan whose name is Pam. She lives near Flint and is married to Rick. Rick cleans plaque out of people’s veins in Flint proper, like a plumber but with arteries instead of copper pipes. There is lots of plaque in Flint which is good for Rick, and therefore good for Pam. Pam has been a housewife about 34 years. Maybe 35. She also makes people’s lives brighter by virtue of her conversation and sheer intelligence. Two brilliant people, both in terms of intelligence but brilliance entails more than intelligence. Brilliance means you shine, and I know plenty of intelligent people that don’t shine. Brilliance is one of those traits that is tough to define but you know it when you see it. Non Brilliant people want to be around Brilliant people in hopes that it will rub off and make THEM brilliant ,which is why I make the pilgrimage every year to Fenton Michigan, usually during January for a reason that nobody understands, not them...
